Welcome to the Tong High School Humanities GCSE Website

With only a few school weeks now until your exam it is time to get revising!

This website will help you get through your revision and break it down so that it is not too daunting.

One of the first things you need to do is draw up a revision timetable so that you know what you are doing each week.  Try not to simply sit down and 'revise'.  Think about whether you want to revise key words or a specific module.  Think about whether you want to revise exam technique or content knowledge.

One of the best and most successful ways to revise is to do a little often.  Don't sit down for two hours at a time.  Sit down for half an hour every day and you will find that you remember and understand a lot more.

Other successful techniques are making mind maps and brainstorms about each topic and seeing if you can reduce down a page of information to seven key bullet points.

To be successful you need to learn your key words, learn your examples and case studies and really make sure you practice exam technique.

Good luck and happy revising!
