On Friday 16th October, 32 gifted and talented Food Technology students from Tong High School, Belle Vue Girls School, Grange Technology College and Bingley Grammar will take part in Day 1 of the first ever SUPERCHEF event which will be hosted by Tong High School. Visiting staff from Leeds Trinity (& All Saints) College will run sessions on pasta making and international flavours. John Atkinson, Education Bradford’s new G&T coordinator for secondary schools, will visit the event. The event has been funded by Education Bradford and organised by WHAT IF?, the G&T Network. Day 2 ‘The Final’ will take place later this term and the winning pair of students will each be presented with an engraved stainless steel saucepan! The winning school will receive a top-of-the-range pasta machine.
