In the first game, against Bradford College, we played superbly in the first half, going 4-0 up with brilliant goals from Alexander D (2) , Zak A, and an own goal.

It could have been 5 or 6-0 at this point with 2 disallowed goals from THS6. The game turned in the second half, with Bradford coming back to level 4-4.

Clive Z put Tong back in front late in the second half, but a fine goal from Bradford levelled the scores and gave both teams a share of the points.

A great performance from both teams and a well deserved draw.

Now, the second game, against Joseph Priestley College.

It was a physical game, played on bobbly, hard pitch. Both teams went at it hammer and tong from the start. A magnificent strike from Bongani Ngwenya gave Tong the lead early on.

Joseph Priestley equalised towards the end of the first half with a lucky in swinging corner, giving the goalkeeper, Matthew F, no chance.

The captain urged Tong to pile the pressure on and it paid off in the 80th minute with an exceptional, tricky run and solo effort from Lee S.

Tong had worked hard and earned all 3 points, a good performance and a good 2-1 win for Tong.
